Some people make it so, that if visitors have an ad-blocker enabled, they see a well visible plea to disable the ad-blocker instead of the ads.
I think that would be a better way to ask for support than just one journal entry, which might not be read by everyone and will be burried in the depths of your archive in a short while.
And my ad-blocker is off now. ^^
Ouu! I’ll have to look up how to do that! I completely agree with you- that having a more permanent thing on the site about it would be great! But I also don’t want to force people to do it (or make people feel like i am) because I know people can get pretty whiny about things like that.
