I just found DELVE. Started reading the archive. Throw the reader into the action. Good. Cat and mouse ‘tween very evildoer and dewy-eyed purity. Very good. She resolutely refuses the villain and is ready to die for her principles. (This writer isn’t pulling any punches.)
THEN. BKAM!(I don’t even care where She got the gun.)

OHHH MAN!!!

I was really getting into this comic… but a gun???

Now that just runied it for me. I like the fantasy comics where guns haven’t been invented, where it’s it’s all swords and sorcery.

I’m sorry to say, you’ve kind of put me off your webcomic. My apologies, but I don’t think I could read the rest of it. I just have some wacko principles about what I’d like to see in a fantasy comic/setting.

Aww, sorry to hear that! I’ve always liked a kind-of mixed fantasy, so you can get a little crazier than the usual sword/sorcery only. The old-school pixel RPGs are my inspiration, and a lot of those have a lot of steampunk/buried technology/etc. It’s that kind of thing I like- not necessarily very futuristic. But sorry if it’s not your thing :D to each their own!

Awesomeness! Not a wimpy girl who can only use magic after all! Pulling out a gun- I likes it.
I can’t stand it that the chick is so often the caster and can’t use a weapon.

Also, I really like steampunk. Keep it up!

Thanks! A lot of DELVE is kinda my take on RPGs or flipping around some of things I’ve seen or would want to see in one. A magic user with a gun is one, and a main character who -doesn’t- use a sword is another! So I’m very glad you’re enjoying those aspects of the story :D I hope you continue to read and like it! Thanks for the comments!
