About DELVE
DELVE is a epic Fantasy RPG turned Comic, written, drawn and created by Del Borovic. The original concept and creation of the characters occured in late 1999. Originally meant to be an old-school pixel RPG, much work was done to that end. Multiple versions of the game were made, one with one half hour of playable content. Unfortunately as RPG-creation programs became more complicated, doing all the writing, art and coding became too much work for one person, and all of it was put aside. Through all that time the story and characters have continued to grow into a story of epic proportions. And then- a bolt of inspiration! Why not do the story as a comic instead, but still keeping all its RPG flare, and throwing away none of the previous work? Well.. why not, says me.
So here we are. At the gates of something ten years in the making. I hope you are willing to take the trip with me, and come to love the cast and world in the same way that I have. As there are still a lot of RPG elements in the story, don't be surprised if some audience interactions and participations come into play! You just may never know what I'm going to pull next~

When you ask yourself, why does DELVE only come out twice a week? Why aren't there moar desktops, moar vote incentives, moar cheezypoofs? That's because most all of the work here is done by Del, who doesn't get paid for these shenanigans. A SCAD Alumni, Del is a freelance artist, and has to do a LOT more than just DELVE to make a living. Regardless, doing comics of her own writing + creation are her biggest passion, so she intends to keep the work goin on and on~ Pretty much the face of DELVE, it's her rambling you read on the website, and is the tiny orange thing you see at conventions. But she's backed by a lot of amazing people who will be listed below. Her favorite food is crab. |

An amazingly intelligent and talented writer and artist, Crow is constantly annoyed by Del for story help and ideas. As the main editor and first person to see things in their roughest form, Crow helps a lot in making DELVE not full of fail. Whenever Del writes herself into a wall, Crow is always there to free her, like a very awkward superhero. Crow is currently still writing comic scripts for herself and others, and still is big in the OCT scene on DeviantArt. |

Del's roommate from college, and an adorably bubbly pink creature, the world would be a pit of despair without her. Savi has an amazing ability to actually listen when Del rambles on and on to her about stories and ideas, and has done a lot to steer things in the right direction. Without her friendship and slight jabbing, DELVE would certainly not even have gotten off the ground. She also has her own webcomic Lady Crimson, which is currently still beign updated. An extremely talented webdesigner and artist, Johnson has been a great asset to the DELVE team- both in his storytelling ideas and his CSS know-how. This website would not look nearly as awesome and put-together as it does now without him! So you should all thank him. Regardless, though, he still gets mad when Del uses tables when updating the website. Like.. right now. ...Ooops. |
